The Young King; The ruler of the herd.
The Lovely Queen; The king's mate.
The Rightful Heir; Their chosen heir.
The Noble Children; Their other foals.
The Trusted Knight; The leads' right-hand man, their adviser.
The Cunning Lady; The leads' left hand, and the most trusted mare in the herd. Does not need to be mated to the knight, and is chosen separately.
The Promising Youths; The foals they have chosen to train.
The Infantry; Basically the foot-soldiers. The warriors.
The Spies; Just as it says.
The Scouts; They're border patrol. If an unknown equine enters the borders, they may approach them or send word to the lead.
The Common Men; Other stallions.
The Common Women; Other mares.
The Young Talents; Other foals.
The Captives; Prisoners taken by the leads.
The Disgraceful; Herd members who have done something to anger the leads, lowest rank in the herd.
The Deserters; Those who have left the herd.
The Enemies; Enemy herds.
The Allies; Allied herds.
