No New Posts The Narrows

The Vaerult River cuts the Forest in half, and one cannot go from one side to the other without crossing the waters. Much of the river is impassible or dangerous to swim through because it is too wide or there are harsh undercurrents. The narrows is as the name suggests; it is the narrowest and safest crossing point of the Vaerult. It has sandy banks and meadow on either side before turning back into thick-treed forest.

No New Posts Green Clearing

Though no one knows exactly why this section of the forest is completely clear of trees year after year, it is the perfect place for the herd to meet and mingle. Tall trees surround the area, but the clearing itself has nothing taller than short, lush green grass that gives the clearing its name.

No New Posts The Forest Trails

The forest is woven with a labyrinth of paths and trails formed by the inhabitants over the years. It can be confusing to outsiders, and it is a form of defense for the equines that live here. Foals are advised by the herd not to wander off alone, as they are not old enough to know all of the twists and turns and could easily get lost.

Board Description
Eastern Forest
Along the eastern coast runs a great, thick forest that is the home of the Zexis herd. Some parts of the forest are so thick it makes travel difficult. Others are thin, with trees scattered in clearings. Of the three herd lands, this is probably the most mild, as it experiences four true seasons. The trees only stop growing east when the dirt turns to sand on the coast and makes growth impossible. The Vaerult River flows through the forest before emptying into the Kelksie Ocean.

Herd leader is currently open for auditions.
