The Silk Woods

One of the eerier locations in Valsaine, the Silk Woods are located on the western edge of the Eastern Forest. Technically it is under that herd's authority, but almost everyone avoids it and it's been abandoned by the herd as a whole. The woods are home to a species of small black spiders, found only in this location and in large numbers. They constantly weave giant webs, and crawl over any who break the webs. They don't bite... usually.
