HOME---PLOT---RULES
November 20th, 2007: The United States government initiates a program in Advanced Research and Engineering Sciences that is designed to genetically engineer beings with superhuman abilities. The beings created are just as strong, just as quick, but exponentially more loyal than those superbeings already running around the streets of American cities. If the time would ever come, the government could pit super against super in war.
May 23rd, 2011: War beats down the doors of the White House, overthrowing the American government in the amount of time for a distress call to circle around the world.
Present Day, 2011: Cities have fallen. People have died. The President is hiding in and attempting to govern from an undisclosed location, abandoning the citizens to their one hope: the very superheroes ARES was charged with overcoming. Without the government, superheroes from across the nation band together to face a threat only they can defeat.
